The Court of Appeal has allowed BAPIO to make up to seven pages of written submissions. It has refused BAPIO permission to make oral submissions.
In the order granting permission the Master of the Rolls stated that while the Court is ready to note BAPIO's concerns, its concerns do not directly help determine the present appeal. This is consistent with BAPIO’s application to intervene. In its application, which was made last week, BAPIO stated that it did not intend to make submissions on Dr Bawa-Garba’s particular case but instead on issues of principle.
