I do a wide range of work from NHS whistleblowing claims to advising on temporary employee assignments in the UK to high value City discrimination litigation. Clients vary, too, from organisations based in America or Europe to individuals. Since joining Tim Johnson/Law in 2013 I have worked on insolvency related proceedings in the High Court, commercial matters for SMEs and settlement agreements as well as contracts for temporary staff, regulatory matters and employee communications and agreements.
Growing up in the USA the last thing I intended to do was become an English lawyer. After studying art history at the University of Texas I came to London to study at the Courtauld Institute. Once I had completed my MA I stayed on and worked in publishing for several years before getting my Graduate Diploma in Law and completing the Legal Practice Course. As I studied I became more and more interested in employment law, which is why I trained with Tim Johnson/Law, qualifying in April 2016.
